Well I have to say using this camera on my latest shoot was such a great experience. Yongnuo YN-560 II Speedlite flash review

The Yongnuo 560 ii has been on the market since 2010 and has proved to be a great competitor to Canons 430EX which is over double the price. I bought this product because i wanted an off camera flash which i wouldn’t be too concerned about taking out of the studio. So far it has held up very well due to a solid construction that actually took me by surprise because for the cost of the flash and all of the features you would think that a Chinese product would be made out of flimsy, brittle plastic but no, there was none of this with the Yongnuo 560 ii.

Made a purchase of the Yongnuo Amazon store for $66 with free postage and it arrived within a week in excellent packaging. In the box you get a warranty card, a stand, a really confusing manual which i wouldn’t recommend reading unless you know absolutely nothing about how to operate a flash, and of course the flash itself.

You will need 4 double A batteries to use it so getting them before hand is probably a good idea, with canon flashes you get a lithium battery pack but at the price i paid i wasn’t going to complain.  Lets talk about some of the features.  Firstly this flash has plenty of power; probably enough to bounce back from around 100 meters away on full power. On full power the recycle time is about 4-5 seconds which i thought was great and on the lower power settings there is pretty much no recycle time so you can just keep taking pictures. There are several focal rages from 24mm to 105mm which you can access though the large LCD panel that is also backlit making changing the settings at night very easy to do.  The power ranges from 1/1 all the way down to 1/128 which i use in the M or manual mode becasue my canon camera does not support the automatic modes but, this no problem becasue you will only need to take one test shot as many photographers will tell you and then move around subjects you are photographing without changing any settings. You will find this way of using a flash makes your pictures have a better style.

The Yongnuo is packed with nice features which make you life easy, such as large buttons, sound indicators, recycle light, and easy access batter box and a pull out reflector which does become very hand when you are using the flash on Camera and you don’t want the light to be harsh. You can see this on the image above. Overall i would really recommend that you buys this product because i doubt you will be disappointed with the performance and the price. I used it product to shoot Elite Manchester escort Kitty  not too long ago and as you can see from the results they are very professional looking.
